Cool Shades

This is my new favorite picture of Anna. It was taken in the car, which is a surprise to see her so happy. For those of you who don't know Anna is not usually very happy about riding in the car. This has been a battle since she was about 6 months old. A friend gave her a sucker and I sat in the back with her so she could eat it. You can see Anna was having a great time in the car eating the sucker and sporting her cool shades!

Anna had her 15 month visit today. If went well until the nurse came in with the shots. She screamed until I picked her up after 4 heartbreaking shots!

Putt Putt Golf

I know you all think we are crazy to attempt putt putt with a 15 month old, but we did. It was a lot of fun. Anna did very well. She let us help her hit the ball and took it all in. Maybe she will be a golfer? I just hope she is better then her mom was. She did not hit anything except the ball or anyone with the putter. She did help us all get better scores. She would hit first and then chase her ball so Josh and I usually had a hole in 2 because Anna picked up all the balls and put them right in the hole. Then when all 3 where in the hole she would help daddy collect them and off to the next hole we would go.

Oglebay Park

We returned from vacation yesterday. We all had a great time. Anna was very good during traveling for a change. She did get a little mad a few times she did not want to get in the car seat. We had a lot of things to do and Anna was ready to go every morning. She did not want to take a nap and that was always a fight, maybe she was afraid we would do something fun without her. Below you will see pictures of Anna in a huge life jacket. I think its a little big on her. She enjoyed the paddle boat ride and loved the fountain in the middle of the lake. She pointed it out to us quite a few times. She also enjoyed the ducks, I was not fast enough with the camera. The only reason we had to get off the boat was because her life jacket was getting on her nerves! Coming soon swimming and putt-putt golf.

New Shoes Agian

It seems Anna feet are growing really fast. I sure hope this means she is going to be tall or at least taller then mommy! Grandma and I took her to the shoe store yesterday to get another new pair. The last 3 pairs of shoes Anna has gotten have lasted about 1 month each. They quit telling me to bring her back in about 3 months to see if she is ready for a new pair. I guess they are sure I will make it in sooner. I believe her feet are within 1 size of the 2 1/2 year old, Reese, who shares all her stuff with us. Anna was happy to get her shoes and has been showing everyone. They are cool, little shocks.

I could not get Anna to look at the camera, this is becoming a problem. It sure makes getting photos hard.

Lets go buy some more shoes grandma!

Going back in time a little, Anna went on a short hike with Grandma and Grandpa on Sunday. She really did walk some too! Notice the muffin in her hand. Leanne made those, Anna ate 1 with lunch and took 1 for the road. She was not willing to let go of that muffin!

Josh is still working on Anna's new room! When it is complete we will take some pictures of his master piece. He has already spent a lot of time painting! We just hope Anna grows up and likes purple or we are in trouble! Below is Anna checking out all the stuff that came for her room. The driver walked away from this without serious harm! Don't know how, Just thought I would share this. More of Anna next time.

New Neighbors

Our new neighbors came over to play with Anna while their mom worked in the house. They have not moved in yet but Anna and Caleb have already become good buddies. Whatever Caleb did Anna had to do too! They even took a bath together after playing outside. I think they both liked the bath better then anything else they did. McKayla had no interest in joining them in the tub she just wanted her mommy so Josh took her back to her mom. Having someone so close for Anna to play with is going to be nice.

Mornings

Weekday mornings at our house go something like this, I get up and ready then Josh moves to the couch. I eat breakfast while Josh finally gets moving. Once we are both ready to go Josh heads out to take care of the cats and dogs! Anna is usually still sound asleep at this point. I wait as long as possible then head into her room to wake her. By the way I think there is a law against that! She cuddles up to me and we go get her a M&M which keeps her from yelling when I put her on the potty. She does not want me to let go of her yet. She goes and often wants to stay on the potty. Then out the door we go and off to work. Once we get to work its time for breakfast and Anna is ready to eat. Today as you can see below she had mush. Josh got moving early today and cooked. We usually get dressed after breakfast and then she wants down. Time to explore, today she found a tomato, I don't think anyone will be eating it. She also decided to share her Craisins and everyone that was here got at least one. All the guys played along. They have a soft spot for Anna. Once I ask her if she is ready to got to "school" she is headed towards the door! I finally return to work LATE. The boss seems good with this as long as he gets to see Anna. If we don't stop by I'm in more trouble. How great is that, the perfect deal everyone wants you to be late for work. Again sorry for the quality of these pics, the are from the phone. That camera is at home with 20 new cute pics and I can't remember to grab it.

Water Bug

This weekend was very busy for me. I spent Saturday at a woman's event and shot a M1, it was a lot of fun. Anna and Josh spent Saturday together. Josh called right at five to see if I was on my way home. He said he was ready for some help. They did have a great day together and that night Anna only wanted Daddy until it was bedtime. I came home to a destroyed house but a very happy girl with an exhausted dad, so it was a good day for everyone. Sunday we decided to take Anna for a swim after dinner. We packed up all the goodies, and lots of sunblock and headed to Uncle Sam's for a swim. Anna has learned to love the pool. She tries to get in as soon a we get there. I think she would walk right in the pool! She had a great time floating in her bug and playing ball with us. Sorry for the quality of the picture its from the cell phone. If I can remember to bring the camera to work this week I will get up some other pics of Anna.
